IT IS MADE OF A 1/16"" THICK CORE OF PLASTIC SIMILAR TO FLEXIBLE ENGRAVING STOCK WITH A THIN SPECIAL RUBBER COATING ON BOTH SIDES. THIS MAT PREVENTS SLIPPAGE AND SIDEWARD MOVEMENT.
